Sneakers: Cool and versatile.
Comfortable Boots: Ideally waterproof. My Aquatalia platform boots were perfect—they're versatile, work with oversized jeans or a midi dress for dinner, and the platform is great for rainy weather. They kept my feet dry and comfortable throughout my trip.
Hat or Cap: A hat is crucial for those sporadic drizzles. I packed a short and compact umbrella but used it only a couple of times since a hat was more convenient and stylish.
Gloves or Hand Warmers: Essential if you tend to get cold easily, even in March. I used mine daily and they were a lifesaver during chilly mornings and evenings.
Thermal Layers: Uniqlo's thin Heattech layers are warm without being bulky. These long-sleeve layers are a must-have for staying warm without adding extra weight to your luggage.
Down Vest: A thin down vest under your coat is perfect. I recommend the Martha Stewart vest—it’s easy to pack, comes in a wide variety of colors, looks stylish, and is affordable. I received numerous compliments on it, and it kept me warm without the bulk.
